Dr. Amanda Preimesberger
Dr. Amanda R. Preimesberger, MD, is a board‑certified family physician and the founder of rootsMD Direct Care Family Medicine in Verona, Wisconsin. After over a decade in traditional healthcare, she founded rootsMD in 2021 to provide affordable, personalized care free from insurance barriers.
Dr. Preimesberger offers care across the lifespan—from pediatrics to geriatrics—with a focus on wellness, prevention, and evidence‑based acute care. She also performs many office‑based procedures to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
A Wisconsin native, Dr. Preimesberger earned her BS in Kinesiology from UW-Madison and her MD from the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, where she completed her Family Medicine with Obstetrics residency. Outside of medicine, she’s a mother of four and enjoys travel, nature, and photography.
She serves on the Advisory Board of the Direct Primary Care Alliance, supporting physicians in building independent DPC practices.
